Trisha Yearwood to obtain June Carter Money humanitarian award at CMT Music Awards

Trisha Yearwood will obtain the first-ever June Carter Money Humanitarian Award on the 2024 CMT Music Awards on April 7 on the Moody Middle in Austin.

Based on CMT Music Awards’ govt producers, Yearwood “embodies the daring energy of June, who tirelessly devoted herself to service and group, and the namesake for this award. Trisha has a novel capability to rally a group, whether or not that could be households in want with Habitat for Humanity, or uplifting her fellow artists and entertainers attempting to carve a path within the trade. Each multi-hyphenate trailblazers eloquently crafted a script for others to mannequin, letting their hearts and authenticity information their private, skilled and public lives.”

Along with Habitat for Humanity, Yearwood’s launched the animal rescue-focused charity Dottie’s Yard and labored with organizations together with the Carter Work Challenge, Nationwide Ladies Construct Week, Stanford Ladies’s Most cancers Middle, American Most cancers Society, Humane Society, Grammy Basis MusiCares, Georgia Marketing campaign for Adolescent Energy & Potential, Starkey Listening to Basis and Susan B. Yearwood will even debut her new single “Put It in a Track” in the course of the 2024 CMT Music Awards, marking her first time on the awards present stage since 2019. The CMT Awards air at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS, with Kelsea Ballerini serving as host. Performers already introduced embrace Ballerini, Bailey Zimmerman, Jelly Roll, Jordan Davis, Keith City, Lainey Wilson, NEEDTOBREATHE and Sam Hunt, Cody Johnson, Megan Moroney, Previous Dominion, Parker McCollum and Brittney Spencer.
