Jana Kachakeche – eighth Chair Trumpet
THOMPSON BAND
Matthew Spencer – 1st Chair Tuba
MOORE BAND
Jillian Neal – 4th Chair Clarinet
Nick Meece – 1st Chair Alto Saxophone
Placido Vicente – 1st Chair Euphonium
Zach Pyles – 4th Chair Percussion
These college students got the chance to showcase their expertise and skills to placed on a terrific live performance that Saturday night time. Throughout their time there, college students had been introduced with two live shows on Thursday and Friday night time of the Morehead State Bands, in addition to being a part of Grasp Lessons held by completely different Morehead State professors that Friday. That Saturday morning, three Wayne County Band seniors got the prospect to audition to be a part of the MSU Band, in addition to incomes a scholarship. These college students had been: Nick Meece, Jillian Neal, and Matthew Spencer. All three college students had been accepted into the band by their auditions.
“We’re extraordinarily happy with these college students for all of the arduous work they’ve put into making these Honor Band Clinics, in addition to the seniors who auditioned to be a part of the MSU Faculty Band within the fall,” mentioned Band Director Andy Critz.
